Shiloh Pepin “Mermaid Girl” Has Died
Shiloh Pepin, the little girl born with fused legs, has died at the age of 10. Today is a sad day. The Mermaid girl, Shiloh Pepin has died at the age of ten. This little girl was born with the rare condition of her legs being fused together.
Shiloh was born with “mermaid syndrome,” also known as sirenomelia, and Shiloh only had one partially working kidney, no lower colon or genital organs and her legs were fused from the waist down. Shiloh’s mother, Leslie, said earlier this month Shiloh came down with a cold that quickly turned to pneumonia.
Shiloh Pepin has been notified as one of the three people in the world surviving with “Mermaid Syndrome”. The disease ‘Mermaid Syndrome’ is also called as sirenomelia in which the lower body of the sufferer does not develop correctly and results in the two limbs attached which looks like a mermaid’s tail.
